One out of every three pre-natal tests in the United States is processed by Genzyme Genetics. Given the nature of their work, Genzyme wanted to create a website that was friendly and upbeat to expecting parents who would be logging on to find out if their new child is healthy. The theme of nature, life, and spring was chosen to differentiate Genzyme from other pre-natal testing labs, many of whom feature DNA helixes and a palette of pink and light blue.
The Genzyme Genetics website won both the 2004 MITX Award for Excellence and a 2004 Web Marketing Award.
